Job Description:

I am currently partnering exclusively with a small Consulting business based Melbourne CBD (Collins St). This opportunity will be reporting and working closely with the CFO.

The role will be overseeing the finance function and responsible for:
  • Prepare monthly management financial reports including profit & loss, capital expenditure, cash flow and balance sheet and associated commentary and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, professional & legislative requirements where applicable.
  • Co-ordinate the Annual budget process in conjunction with key business stakeholders.
  • Manage periodic financial re-forecasts
  • Co-ordinate the Annual audit process and provide key information and input
  • Prepare annual Statutory reporting
  • Responsible for overseeing all service deliverable for the business unit finance function including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensure legislative, audit, tax and professional requirements are adhered to.
  • Manage preparation of BAS, FBT and income tax requirements
  • Development of the Accounting Systems
